GDN, The Future is Brighter, enables experience and knowledge sharing without time or space constraints, through innovative and interactive methods.
People's success stories and experience are valuable sources of knowledge transfer nowadays, as experience sharing can inspire others..
The aim of this project is to provide an online platform where young people can learn from senior professionals; where professionals can voluntarily share their knowledge and create social benefit. As you may know, young people have scarce knowledge about professions and are expected to decide on their career right after graduation from their universities. Career days or other similar events are not enough to meet the need in guiding young graduates.
The GDN Project enables e-mentoring between university students and professionals.
The system works as follows: the Mikado team matches students from 3 beneficiary universities with mentors according to the mentors' areas of expertise. As soon as the appointment is set, an email including details of the talk and the related password are communicated. When the date and time comes, both the student and the mentor access the talk room using their passwords through the GDN website (www.gelecekdaha.net). All talks are being monitored and archived by the Mikado team.
