Social Innovation Summit Istanbul Inspired!

On Friday, February 20th, different approaches to social entrepreneurship and innovation were discussed in the “Social Innovation Summit”, hosted by Ashoka Foundation and BMW Foundation.
The Summit was organized with Boehringer Ingelheim, Egon Zehnder, Magrabi Optical, M-Spark  and SAP; in network partnership with AlumniTurk, C@rma, Columbia Global Centers Turkey, Certified B Corporation, Endeavor Türkiye, Gelecekhane, Girişimcilik Vakfı, Impact Hub, Istanbul Social Entreprise, Kiva, Mikado, S360, SİM, TurkishWin,; in media partnership with Bloomberg Businessweek’in and with live broadcast partnership with Positif TV; with over 200 attendees from the business world, academia., media and social entrepreneurship ecosystem.

In the third round of the Summit in Adahan Istanbul, Turkish Ashoka Fellows Tülin Akın, the Founder of Tabit; Ercan Tutal, the Founder of Ayder and Düşler Akademisi; Renay Onur, a Co-Founder of Adım Adım; and Serra Titiz, the Founder of Gelecek Daha Net have  discussed scaling strategies, failures and successes for social entreprenuers in Turkey.
